Whole and Healthy Eating
We place great emphasis on what we consume at Camp Zen Commando. "Food is Fuel," and what we eat plays a crucial part in our health, well-being, and longevity. Evelin, our onsite Chef, prepares all our delicious meals. During retreats, we have two meals daily with healthy snacks between meals. Our morning meal is served mid-morning, and our evening meal is served upon completion of our afternoon events. We avoid eating after 6 p.m. so the body has enough time to properly digest and metabolize before shutting down for the day. We purchase only locally grown whole foods from nearby markets and vendors.
